zhuoyue manufactures replacement screws and barrels for our own twin-screw extruders as well as for other leading twin-screw extruders ranging from 27mm to 93mm. All parts are manufactured in Nanjing at our plant, and our components are guaranteed to be compatible with OEM equipment. Our barrel sleeves are replaceable, resulting in an average of 30% savings when it’s time to change them.

We have several years of experience in supplying wear parts that have processed a wide range of the industry’s most challenging material formulations.  Our experts in processing can recommend screw and barrel materials that are designed to provide the longest product life possible.

The flexible modular principle is realized with screw barrel sections from the wide range of different designs possible. Fast, intensive, and uniform heating of the screw barrel sections is ensured by electrical heaters. The barrel sections are cooled with water, using an internal bore system, with bores arranged close to the inside barrel wall.

Barrel sections are available as:

• Closed barrel section

• Barrel section with opening for material feeder atmospheric vent or devolatilization

• C-type Bi-metal wear resistance alloy liners supplied to barrels for high wear resistance.

The first barrel is for feeding with no heaters. The following barrels will be equipped with cast copper heaters. The processing section is provided with stainless steel plates as protection against accidental contact.
